Sooooo, I was reading a post on blackgirllonghair and something caught my eye. The author of that particular post said that it was a myth that her hair was supposed to feel like cotton candy, but really her hair was naturally dry!

Oh my Gosh I can totally relate to this! I know exactly what she meant. Only a few weeks back I gave up on the belief that the perfect deep conditioner existed and that I would one day be able to capture the softness my wet hair possesses in its dry state.
My hair doesn’t suffer sever breakage, nor is it unmanageable. But for a long time I thought my hair wasn’t right. It is such a relief to see that I am not the only one privy to the thoughts of accepting my not so soft hair as is.
